I returned to the Section 8 office on Tuesday morning, at eight o’clock. Meister Propre was as friendly as could be. I was hoping he had had a good night’s sleep. Still, I could not bring myself to tell him how good he smells. Fear still reminds me he could turn against me.
Unfortunately, my case worker was still not in. I hope she is alright, I think. Again, her unfriendly supervisor, (another big bully, weighing as much as the guard, only with his weight redistributed to admit to liking pie, had me fill out another form.
Again, he did not give me his name. If he gives me his name, he may be called to work. Better to remain silent.
And so, I took care of what I came to do, and now all I can do is follow up. I did that, but my caseworker’s message box is still full and cannot take any more messages.
It’s January 9th. Isn’t it time to take care of all that leftover work from last year, before you can to on to fulfill your resolution to:
* quit smoking
* lose weight
* stop lying
* stop swearing
* stop talking on the cell phone while driving.
* stop texting while I’m eating, drinking, driving, and applying my makeup.
in other words, I stop being such a fool.
And so there is One life.
This life is God.
This life is perfect.
This life is my life now.
I accept that all of us are children of God.
I give thanks that I know that I know.
I release my thoughts,
and so it is.
Amen.

I’m with you on the resolution 🙂
