It’s Sunday, what I call the Sabbath, a day of rest without work. I refuse to do laundry, clean house, work, or wash my car on the Sabbath, but here I am writing.
The difference is, I do not consider writing work. Yes, it can be tedious to fit the puzzle together when you don’t have all the pieces, but it’s not only fun, it’s the only place in my life where I have control. I can control my mind, if even that, and nothing else. Only in prayer can I know the truth of what is.
Write on.
There is one life.
This life is God.
This life is perfect.
This life is my life now.
I give thanks for the knowledge I know I know.
Because I know I know, I can change my life.
I have within me the power to change, to move forward.
I accept all that is my life, knowing in spite of illusions to the contrary,
I am in command.
I stand guard at the gate to my mind,
choose which thoughts I allow to enter,
which I turn away.
I release.
When I step aside and allow Him to shine,
He shows up.
I know He is within
and without.
Amen.
