1. Look within steps four, six, seven, ten and eleven.
Memorize them.
Remember them.
Work them then work the other seven steps, being sure to include God, however you understand Him or Her to be.
God is the sponsor, as you and I see Him or Her.
It seems so co-dependent to think one needs to find a sponsor outside oneself. The strength and guidance we seek does not necessarily come from outside of ourselves. The sponsor is within. God is within. God is the sponsor.
There are no other steps than step 1, admit, accept, memorize, remember, work the twelve steps.
Tie them to your fingers.
Tape them to your rack.
Hang them from your forehead.
Glue them to your back.
They work when we work them.
There is one life.
This life is God.
This life is perfect.
This life is my life now.
I choose it.
I choose God’s love to be victorious over my ego.
I give thanks for this knowledge, knowing I can work these steps to correct my life.
I accept.
I release, and move forward in peace and heightened understanding.
And so it is.
