Aloneous Bonheur, the prince of Abundance, hears plants and animals talk to him, and he responds. His sister, princess Princilla, has run him out of the kingdom.  Now Aloneous prepares to graduate from the University of Understanding in Eureka, at thirty. The following is the scene in which he appears for a consultation with his university counselor, Mr. Moveforth.
