Hello Reader,
here is where Coda (Co-Dependents Anonymous) can help me work toward caring less and less the world is so incredibly messed up. There is only disorder in order and I can’t change it. I can barely change myself. Working on it every day. I no longer teach for money, and haven’t been to a staff party in over fifteen years. Few listen to me anymore, except Alone’s plant and animal friends, the flora and the fauna in the fairy tale state and kingdom of Entitlement.
Dans ma tête. In my head. I beg to share it with the world.
We are all born into a co-dependent society. Every spirit who comes into this world is dependent upon others for food, shelter, warmth, milk, and comfort. It is the healthy among us who recognize society’s co-dependent patter, and strive to move outside of it, and take a route to sanity in our relationships. I must make a daily choice to trade in my insanity (ego) for a power greater than myself. And it takes work.
See the ‘Twelve Steps Work When You Work Them’ post for ways to put work into action.
My centenarian Dad never used the word God. He called “It” Mother Nature, and Mother Earth. He once told me, “you can call it Mud and it’s all the same”. But let me face it, he was a pagan and yet, quite spiritual. Whenever he was able to speak over Mummy.
There is one life.
This life is God, whatever I choose to call Him, Her, They or It.
This life is perfect.
This life is my life now, perfect thought, perfect word, perfect action.
I accept.
I align with every relationship, that we may surrender to God’s will, and accept guidance.
I give thanks.
I release my thoughts, knowing my word is Divine cause.
And so it is.
Amen.
