Russia has devised a new law against homosexuality, which they have labeled “Homosexual Propaganda”– a giant step backward. It places into effect a new law that will imprison persons of the same sex who kiss in public!
Many of our gay (and not gay bisexual, straight and trans) brothers and sisters have been beaten by anti-protesters in their attempt to speak out against this discrimination. What can be done to stop this act of hatred that has overtaken the country?
Editing in 2018 here in Colorado, it just sounds too close to home.

This life is God.

I believe in the eternal good of mankind. I believe that the truth will surface and unfortunate acts of discrimination will come to an end with minimal harm.
I give my spiritual and mental support to all the brothers and sisters who have the courage to stand up against this discrimination. I stand with my brothers and sisters in thought, in prayer, in unity of thought, as we move through the understanding that all humans are created equal. I give thanks that there are people in this world who have the courage to speak out against injustice and discrimination. I accept that the best help I can offer is to stand firm against hatred and discrimination. In forgiveness I realize that I have an advantage over those who hate.
I have the power to forgive.

I release my thought knowing, in the end, justice will win.
And so it is.
